The South Carolina Gay and Lesbian Pride Movement: SCGLPM sponsors and organizes the annual South Carolina Pride March and Rally, educates and informs the general public and other organizations, fights for human rights and hate crimes legislation in the State House and in city halls throughout the state, helps to operate the Pride Center as a safe haven for our community and youth with support and social activities, coordinates GLBT groups throughout the state and funds and manages this website to inform the community. Crape Myrtle Festival: The Annual Crape Myrtle Festival is an all-volunteer nonprofit organization, which has raised over 650,000 for HIV/AIDS and other health concerns of the Triangle gay and lesbian community, ranks as one of the top fund raisers in the Research Triangle area.
